The FBM KLCI closed at an 11-month low of 1,444.8 points to register a loss of 2.6% for the week.  Regional markets generally closed higher on expectations that further stimulus measures would be announced at the U.S. Federal Reserves annual meeting. Looking ahead, the performance of the local and regional markets will depend on the developments of the sovereign debt issues in the U.S. and European markets.
