latest market wrap report for the week ended 11
March 2011
WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
- courtesy of PB Mutual
Led by declines in regional equity markets, the FBM KLCI registered
a loss of 1.8% over the week to close at 1,495.6 points.
Most regional equity markets retreated on concerns that the recent
earthquake in Japan may have an adverse impact on regional trade
activities.
Looking ahead, the local market is anticipated to move in tandem
with overseas markets. Investors will continue to monitor the outlook
for economic activities, oil prices, inflation and regional interest
rates.
